What Causes Low Back Pain?

I have never had any back problems before but right after an auto accident I have been having persistent lower back pain. Pain that affects the way I go, how long I sit, lifting 10+ pounds, etc. I had a MRI done which showed mild arthritis & inflamation, other than that MRI is normally. They are referring me to pain management b/c the pain is intense, I usually lose 1 to 3 days a week from the pain. This doesn’t seem right to me, why would I just start hurting like this? Thanks.

Pain Management For Muscular Pain In Someone On Warfarin?

My elderly relative has a (she thinks) muscular pain in her back – (has been in hospital lately and they didn’t reckon it was anything other than a muscular pain) but she’s on Warfarin and so can only take Paracetamol.
The pain is really persistent and it would be fantastic if I could find some other option that I could then suggest to her GP. (No excellent suggesting exercise as she’s not very mobile at present). Advice appreciated.
