could be your sciatic nerve. I have the same issue. If I take aleve or something I will be nearly 100 percent fine, or if I run it loosens me up a lot. It it goes down your leg a bit, then it could def be the sciatic nerve geting pinched.
hey im 17 and i have a kind of stiffness in my lower back and sometimes a small pain when im running etc. sometimes its there but sometimes its not, if i take ibuprfen then it ussually stops it but im just wondering wheter you reckon its muslce pain (itl recover) or if its something a bit more serious.
